3-way monitor
Essentially, the Trio6 Be is a three-way speaker with a 1″ tweeter, a 5″ woofer and an 8″ subwoofer. However, if you switch to FOCUS mode, Trio6 Be will be reconfigured into a two-way monitor.

FocalTrio6 Be can be used vertically or horizontally to optimize positioning thanks to an adjustable aluminum panel containing the woofer and tweeter.
This rotating baffle can rotate 360° in 90° increments, making it one of the most versatile speakers to position.

1″ tweeter, a 5″ woofer
As a two-way speaker, Trio6 Be uses only the 5-inch woofer and tweeter, limiting the frequencies to between 90Hz and 20kHz. This configuration offers the perfect compromise when controlling the quality of the mix for playback systems with limited frequency response, such as TVs, PCs, cars and portable speaker systems. The frequency response curve of the two-way configuration is identical, though less extensive, to its three-way curve, allowing for a perfect comparison while preserving the stereo image. Concentrating on this critical mid-frequency range allows for a good mix and allows the engineer to make sure the levels are just right. A foot switch (not included) activates this configuration remotely from the listening position.
