The HEDD Type 05 MKii model is a true multitasker. Its strong performance, digital connectivity and compact size make it the ideal choice for mobile broadcast stations, recording studios, multi-channel configurations and VoIP conferencing. The hedd Type 5 is based on a two-way system that provides a solid foundation and a high degree of accuracy in the frequency range between 45Hz and 50kHz by coordinating the interplay between a 6″ woofer and a high-resolution Air Motion Transformer ( HEDD AMT ).
Type 05, like all our Series ONE studio monitors, is additionally equipped with a modular connection system. In addition to standard analog XLR and RCA connections, the Type 05 features an empty card slot that we designed to read Dante (Audio-over-IP) and other digital audio protocols.
