Arturia AudioFuse X8 Out: The Smart Extension for your Analog Workflow
In a growing studio, there always comes a time when you run out of outputs. The Arturia AudioFuse X8 Out solves this problem directly through the ADAT port of your current interface. Instead of investing in an entirely new, more expensive interface, simply plug in the X8 Out to instantly have eight additional, balanced, studio-quality line outputs.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
1. Can I use the X8 Out without another interface? No, the X8 Out is an expander. It needs a main unit (such as an AudioFuse or other interface with ADAT) to receive the digital signal from your computer.
2. Does this device also work with interfaces of other brands? Yes, the X8 Out follows the standard ADAT protocol and thus works with any brand of interface (such as RME, Focusrite or Universal Audio) that has an ADAT output.
3. Do I lose quality when using 96 kHz? The X8 Out supports S/MUX for higher sample rates. Note that at 88.2 or 96 kHz, the number of channels available through one ADAT port is halved to 4.
4. Is the Word Clock connection necessary? Only if your setup requires it. The X8 Out can also synchronize perfectly via the clock data contained in the ADAT signal, provided your interface is set as ‘Master’.
5. Can I mount two X8 units in one rack? Absolutely. The included rack ears and link plate allow you to place two X-Series units (for example, an X8 In and an X8 Out) side by side in a standard 1U rack space.
