The Sound by Audient: Console Preamps & JFET DI

At the heart of the iD24 are two Audient ASP8024-HE microphone preamps. These discrete Class-A preamps are known for their low noise, minimal distortion and that characteristic touch of analog warmth. In addition, the interface features a JFET instrument input, which mimics the rich texture of a classic tube amp-perfect for your electric guitar or bass guitar.

Maximum Flexibility with Balanced Inserts

A unique feature in this price range are the two balanced inserts. These allow you to insert external hardware, such as a Warm Audio WA76 compressor or a WA-2A, directly into your signal path before conversion. This ensures the cleanest possible recording chain and gives you the freedom to work with real analog gear.

Smart Monitoring and Workflow

The Audient iD24 is designed to speed up your workflow:

• ScrollControl: Use the large volume knob as a virtual scroll wheel to adjust parameters in your DAW or plug-ins.

• User Defined Buttons: Three programmable buttons give you instant access to functions such as Dim, Cut, Polarity Invert or Mono-summing.

• Dual Headphone Outputs: Features both a 6.3mm and a 3.5mm jack with a powerful amplifier for any studio headphones.
