Behringer RD-8, TR808 clone
The device was initially referred to as the RD-808, but has now undergone a name overhaul. While the reason for this change is unclear, it may have something to do with Roland’s filing of trademarks for its respected TB-303 and TR-808 designs in early 2019.
The primary features of the RD-8 are its 16 drum sounds and 64-step sequencer. The latter in particular has support for poly-meter, step and note repeat and real-time triggering. In addition, the unit features an integrated wave designer and a dual-mode 12dB filter, both of which can be assigned to individual voices.
