Polyend Drums is an analog and digital drum machine built without concessions. Every component is designed to feel immediate, sound great and give you more creative possibilities without much thought
Radical Design.
The Polyend Drums is built around a one-piece aluminum body, with custom metal knobs and high-quality components. Every material, component and surface has been chosen with an eye on precision, consistency and that special feel that you immediately notice as soon as you touch it
Advanced sequencer.
Years of experience have resulted in our most advanced and intuitive sequencing system to date. With 8 tracks, extensive per-track settings, probability, microtiming, pattern chains and generative tools, go beyond simple step-by-step playback to create expressive compositions.
Features Polyend Drums
Analog voices.
Four analog voices, based on modern SSI chips, provide a full, classic sound with modern flexibility. Each voice consists of two analog VCOs, a dedicated noise source and an additional digital oscillator for hybrid layering or precise FM modulation. All are shaped by a multimode analog filter and VCA, allowing you to create everything from tight percussion to evolving synth textures.
Instruments.
Multiple analog and digital synths, sample-based instruments and eight independent LFOs provide you with the most important tools for creating and modulating drum sounds. With more than forty instruments, each with their own sub-mode variations, you have hundreds of options to choose from.
Live performances.
Drums is designed for real-time control. Use the X0Y fader to morph kits, trigger fills directly, and switch between patterns or sound kits without stopping playback. Important parameters remain at your fingertips, so you can make changes while the pattern is running.
Effects.
Polyend Drums includes three special effect groups. Send effects for shared processing. Insert effects for individual tracks. A master chain for the final mix. Inserts can be sequenced by track, so that effects become part of the rhythm rather than something added at the end.
Power
The device runs on a dual-core main CPU, with auxiliary processors handling peripherals and analog control. Internal audio processing is done in 32-bit floating point at 96 kHz, with 24-bit/96 kHz DAC and ADC conversion for audio input and output.
