The Technology Behind the V7 MC2
The secret of the V7 MC2 lies in the hand-built DMC7 dynamic capsule. Where most microphones use copper, sE opts for an aluminum voice coil. This lighter material responds faster to transients, giving your voice a level of detail normally heard only in condenser microphones.
Supercardioid Directivity: This tight pattern allows the microphone to focus entirely on your voice. Sound from monitors or other instruments on stage is effectively blocked, dramatically reducing the chance of feedback (buzzing).
Patented Shockmount: The capsule’s internal suspension absorbs vibration and impact noise. This allows you to move the microphone freely without hand noise interfering with recording or amplification.
Durable and Professional: The capsule features a dent-resistant steel grill and an internal windshield that effectively dampens plosives (P and B sounds).
Simple Integration
The V7 MC2 is a direct drop-in replacement. You simply unscrew the current capsule from your Sennheiser® transmitter and replace it with the MC2. It is fully compatible with systems such as the Evolution G3/G4, 2000 series, Digital 6000/9000 and the latest EW-D/EW-DX series.
