Link two or more tracks to edit their content simultaneously. This makes live editing in Ableton of multi-tracked instruments or multi-musician performances easy and fast, all while keeping everything over time over the tracks. This function also works for MIDI tracks.

Plug in your MPE-compatible controller and instantly add bends, slides, and pressure for each individual note in a chord. Add subtle expression variations, switch between chords and create evolving sonic textures all within Live 11
What is MPE?
MPE stands for MIDI Polyphonic Expression. This way of using MIDI allows MPE-compatible devices to control multiple parameters of each note in real time for more expressive instrumental performances.

Edit the pitch, slide, and pressure envelopes of each note to fine-tune the expression of your recordings. Or take your sound design further by sequencing polyphonic sound variations.
More expressive sounds included
Wavetable, Sampler and Arpeggiator have all been updated to support MPE. And Live comes with MPE presets for each device that bring a new dimension of interaction and playability to your sound. The new expressive capabilities in ableton live 11 also enable polyphonic aftertouch on push.
