Arp odyssey module rev 3
The legendary sound that connects the past with the present.
Reborn again as an analog synthesizer module.
Since its appearance in 1972, the ARP ODYSSEY has been loved by countless musicians as a classic analog synthesizer. Forty years later, with the advisory support of David Friend, co-founder of the ARP Instruments company, KORG revived the ARP ODYSSEY with the full reproduction of the original circuits. The ARP sound, still envied as an iconic analog synthesizer, has returned to the hands of today’s musicians. Now KORG is broadening the reach of the ARP ODYSSEY in today’s world even further with the release of a new model.
The ARP ODYSSEY Module is an ARP ODYSSEY without a keyboard but with the exact same analog synthesizer circuitry that fully reproduces the original. To fit perfectly in contemporary situations with DAW’s music production centered around it, we deliver it in a more compact module form. The lineup consists of two models: the white Rev1 and black-orange Rev3, reproducing traditional styling in a groundbreaking desktop housing. The real ARP sound, which transcends history, is once again available to the world.
An ARP ODYSSEY Module radiates synthesis power to your desktop
The ARP ODYSSEY is a desktop analog synth module based on KORG’s resurrected ARP ODYSSEY. Inside the compact, keyboard-less cabinet are exactly the same circuitry as in the original, making it even easier to get that rich analog sound that only a true ARP ODYSSEY can produce.
By adding the ARP ODYSSEY Module to their setup, DAW users can expand their production environment with powerful, analog sound that cannot be achieved with any plug-in. You can also perform in conjunction with a sequencer such as the KORG SQ-1. If you’re a player with a preference for a specific keyboard, you can connect the ARP ODYSSEY Module to it via MIDI and play it the way you want. A new addition is that the ARP ODYSSEY supports MIDI Pitch Bend.
