EVE SC305 compact studio monitor
Carefully designed to be equally comfortable and accurate in a stereo or surround setup, the SC305 works perfectly as a center channel.
The Eve SC305 studio monitor combines the power of three different amplifiers to deliver highly efficient, dynamic and low-noise sound reproduction. Our three-way systems are designed not only for critical and detailed listening, but also to deliver power and thunderous bass.
With the SC305, one of the woofers only delivers up to 350 Hz sound and functions as a kind of “bass woofer”. The other woofer gives you a fuller range up to the 3000 Hz crossover frequency as a bass midrange driver.
This means that each individual woofer does less physical work effectively, which in turn will result in less mechanical inertia and more efficient sound transmission. Both woofers consist of our patented 5″ SilverCone, the same used in the smaller SC205 model, and feature our advanced low-distortion copper-capped magnet system. However, by using two of these woofers at the same time, you get a greater frequency response – up to 50 Hz.
The SC305 also uses the proprietary AMT RS3 tweeter, which uses a larger faceplate and larger internal magnet to drive the AMT tweeter more efficiently.
The three 50 W PWM power amplifiers don’t let you run out of power either. All in all, the SC305 will probably be considered the most detailed three-way monitor speaker on the market due to its specific size and price range.
And don’t worry about deciding how to properly place the SC305 in your room or studio. Our DSP section will help you choose the speaker for the left and right sides. So you always get the right symmetry between your speakers, instead of moving them around as usual. A DIP switch on the back of the speakers allows these room adjustment settings to be temporarily locked.
As with any other EVE Audio speaker, you get both balanced XLR inputs and unbalanced RCA inputs for added convenience.
