The versatile avantone CV-95 microphone can produce professional results with a warm, pleasing sonic character. The included Custom Retro Shockmount is excellent at allowing precise positioning of the microphone, while inhibiting the transfer of unwanted vibrations to the microphone. This insulation ensures superior professional results. The PS-1BV power supply not only provides access to the above OMNI, CARDIOID and FIGURE-8 patterns, but also 6 “intermediate” settings. Most vocals are best suited to the Cardioid pattern, but you can experiment to satisfy yourself.
