ADAM A7V is the successor to the a7x, ADAM Audio’s best-selling nearfield monitor.
The Adam A7V is a contemporary 2-way monitor that represents the evolution of ADAM Audio’s award-winning A7X. It is equipped with a 7″ Multi-Layer Mineral woofer and a rotating X-ART tweeter, which is handmade in Berlin.
DSP-based voicing, equalizing and room correction options can be controlled remotely and in real time via the free downloadable A Control software, and updateable firmware allows new filters and tunings to be implemented over the life of the monitor.

Real-Time Remote Control Adam A7v
The back plate of the Adam a7v monitors offers a variety of equalization and tuning options, but often the back plate is not accessible from the listening position where you sit best. With A Control, you can change these settings from your earpiece and be confident in your decisions.
Advanced correction
For some users, the backplate options may not offer enough choice and precision. A-Control lets you choose exact tunings across six bands of parametric equalizing and low and high-low filters. Each filter band can be freely set for gain, frequency and Q value to give the user complete freedom in perfecting the sound of the adam a7v in space.
Integrated Sonarworks Sound ID Reference
A Control facilitates our partnership with market leader Sonarworks. The SoundID Reference option allows calibration curves generated by the Sonarworks application to be imported into A Control and pushed directly to an embedded platform on A Series monitors.
When this option is enabled, calibration takes place directly on the monitor and thus no additional VSTs or software applications are required.
This also means that you will hear calibrated audio regardless of your sound source.
Rotatable HPS waveguide & X-ART tweeter
The A-Series HPS waveguide, made from a new fiberglass polymer compound, enables the X-ART tweeter to spread sound in the room with controlled consistency
