Blackmagic DeckLink Quad 2 has 8 independent SDI recording and playback channels in one card! Fully compatible with the previous 4-channel model, this new model also offers 4 independent recording and playback channels, but now includes 4 additional channels that developers can use to configure the card into any combination of up to 8 recording or 8 playback channels. This means that with the DeckLink Quad 2, each of the 8 3G-SDI BNC connectors can change direction between recording or playback in SD and HD up to 1080p60 and as a completely independent channel.
