Audio Interface RME Fireface UFX+
188 channel, 24 bit / 192 kHz high-end USB and Thunderbolt audio interface
The RME Fireface UFX + will become the centerpiece of any multitrack studio as it can easily handle up to 94 channels of I/O. With unparalleled flexibility, compatibility, the addition of DURec (Direct USB Recording) and RME’s renowned low-latency hardware and driver designs, the Fireface UFX+ takes rme audio to new heights.
Packed with features not found on its older sibling, including MADI I/O (188 channels I/O, 128 channels more than the Fireface UFX), a more powerful DSP, USB 3.0, Thunderbolt TM technology and a new optional remote control firmly places the RME Fireface UFX plus as the new reference in more tracks recording, mixing and monitoring.
The flexibility in connectivity and expansion is unparalleled – analog, ADAT, MADI, AES, SPDIF. USB 2, USB 3 and Thunderbolt technology are standard on the Fireface UFX+ audio interface . The RME UFX plus has an impressive number of channels: 12 analog + 16 ADAT + 2 AES + 64 MADI = 94 channels of input plus output = 188 channels in total. Thunderbolt technology gives the Fireface UFX+ true PCI Express audio performance on Mac and Windows, with the lowest latency, lowest system overhead, and lowest CPU load. The RME audio Fireface UFX+ is fully compatible with Thunderbolt technology under Windows, including hot plugging.
All of the fireface UFX plus’s new AD/DA converters feature optimized analog I/O circuitry and improved SNR and THD values to ensure pristine, crystal-clear and transparent audio. A new PAD-free microphone circuit design with +18 dBu maximum input level and 75 dB gain range handles even the most critical recording situation and is hassle-free source.
New Hi-Power low impedance (2 Ohm) outputs with a maximum output level of +19 dBu provide ample output power and volume on all high or low impedance headphones.
